Visited my grandma at the Holy Cross Hospital today. She had a mini-stroke last Saturday and nobody really knew, not even her… so a few days ago she complained of headaches and a blurred vision. We went to the doc’s and everything, then it got serious… then she had to get a CAT scan and today, an MRI. Her left occipital lobe is completely dead, so half of her vision...

Boo you storm.
Power went out RIGHT when I was on the way back from Jersey, didn’t get it back until an hour ago. Three days without power wasn’t TOOO bad, I guess…

30 Day posts.
So for the 30 day challenges, I’ve only done it once and got lazy. Plus, I didn’t like messing up my posts because they were never in order. I really liked the idea of it too, no lie. I’m doing three of them now, yes, because I just have that much time. My 30 days… click if you must » un. deux. trois.

First time in fourteen days...
That I get to sleep in my own bed. Slept in Seattle. Came home to workers replacing my windows with new ones. Not only did they get debris all over my bed, but got shit, mud, and weird bugs on my floor thanks for being so fucking professional so I had to clorox all that shiz for days. Slept in the guest room. Went to the beach. Came back and slept in the living room like a drunk hobo for three...

Don't rely on someone else for your happiness and...
Only you can be responsible for that. If you can’t love and respect yourself, no one else will be able to make that happen. I can’t stand people who put themselves down every damn minute. Stop being such a little girl and grow the fuck up. It’s called facing reality.

I know how it is when someone disappoints you.
It’s tempting to see things the way you wish they were instead of how they are.

Seattle: Day Five
So, two days ago was my last day. Now that I’m home, I miss it already. Came home to the most awkward and confusing situation ever. Great timing, huh? On the 14th, my brother’s fiance and I woke up right in time for when my brother came home from his last conference. Checked out of the hotel by noon and left all our luggage in the lobby so we could venture the city one last time. Went...

Seattle: Day Four
So, the Maine’s new album Black & White came out today. It’s beautiful. I have one more day left in Seattle, nooo! Today was a much better day than yesterday. The sun was no longer playing hide and seek with the city but the wind was definitely stronger which made it much, much colder. Went to the Seattle Aquarium and explored the most beautiful creatures of the sea. My new love...

Seattle: Day Three
My brother actually woke up on time at 6:45 AM for his conference. Seattle was ice cold and drizzling today. Walked to three different Pho restaurants before finding an opened one for breakfast. Walked along 5th Avenue and Pike St. and found an Urban Outfitters and Anthropologie right next to each other! I literally went gaga. Got the best deals ever, hells yah! Went back to the Pike Place Market...

Seattle: Day Two
Woke up to a cloudy grey sky around 8 AM. Seattle was cold, cloudy, windy and breezy this morning. I honestly looked around for vampires. Highest temperature it reached today was probably in the 70s. Still pretty chilly with the wind. Skyped with mother dearest in the morning before leaving the hotel and I just realized that she’s always the one that hangs up on me first. Cool. Walked over...

Seattle: Day One
Arrived in Seattle around 1 AM last night, got picked up by my brother and his fiance and headed back to the hotel around 2:30 AM. Our room looks out to the Columbia Center Skyview (which is the tallest skyscraper in Seattle) and we’re actually a block away from it. My brother had to wake up for a conference this morning at 7 AM sooo, unfortunately for him he barely had any sleep and...
